GWR Class 28XX 2-8-0 No. 2857 stands in Bishops Lydeard on the morning of first day of the West Somerset Railway Spring Steam Gala, the 5th May 2022. Shortly after this scene was recorded the loco reversed the train out of the station before running back into platform 2 to work the 10:05 departure to Minehead. The Class 28XX is a visitor to the WSR for the gala visiting from the Severn valley Railway.
