Due to operational reasons diesel haulage replaced steam on The Railway Touring Company's Stratford Flyer excursion from Manchester Victoria to Stratford upon Avon on 9th April 2022. The return journey started along the North Warwickshire line, and WCR Class 47 No. 47802 is seen leading the train through Shirley on the outskirts of Birmingham. No. 47245 VE Day 75th Anniversary was on the rear.
