TfW Class 230 D train Vivarail diesel-battery units Nos. 230007, on the left, and No. 230009 stabled at Chester between test running on 29th March 2022. Vivarail have converted a number of surplus Metro Cammell D78 stock built in the late 70s/early 1980s for future use as both Class 230 and 484 class units.
