On the anniversary of the last day of trains on the Somerset and Dorset Railway, 6th March 1966, the Somerset and Dorset Railway Trust ran two round trips from Alresford to Alton with their S&DJR 7F No. 53808. The first of the two special trains nears Alresford with the 11:55 from Alton on 6th March 2022.
