On the 19th February 2022, GBRf Class 60 No. 60096 'Impetus', passes the avoiding loop on the south side of Newcastle station with the 13.51, GBRf loaded biomass service in dedicated hoppers from the Tyne Coal Terminal to Lynemouth Power Station. Waiting to depart from Platform 8 to the right is a Northern Class 156 No. 156491, working the 13.55 service from Morpeth to Carlisle.
