The Swanage Railways Class 117 DMU draws wrong line into the up platform at Corfe Castle station with the second train of the day from Norden to Swanage of a commemorative timetable, the 11:32 arrival on 3rd January 2022. The special services operated by the railway from the 1st to 3rd January were to mark the 50th anniversary of the closure of the Swanage branch line by BR in 1972. The barriers on the platform from which the photographer took the image are for safety as a lineside display used for earlier Steam and Lights services had not been completely removed.
