One of the latest members of the West Coast fleet BR class 47/4 No. 47844 at Carlisle at the head of the ecs for the Flying Scotsman leg of the A1 Locomotive Society Tornado - Flying Scotsman railtour over the S&C to Preston via Blackburn. The class 47 will eventually lead the train from Preston to its destination of Tamworth on the evening of 20th October 2021.
