With ECML diversions occurring again this weekend, a pair of LNER Class 800 "Azuma's" pass each other at Petteril Bridge Junction, Carlisle, on the 16th October 2021.
To the right, no. 800112 is approaching Carlisle with 1W10: the 09.30, LNER Azuma service from London Kings Cross to Inverness, whilst to the left, classmate no. 800101, is departing from Carlisle with 1E19; the 09.52 service from Aberdeen to London Kings Cross.
