A somewhat rare sight for the photographer, a pair of WCRC diesel locomotives pass through Fairwood Junction on 1st October 2021. Class 33/2 Crompton No. 33207 'Jim Martin' leads Class 37/7 No. 37706 as they take the Westbury line working the 10:22 Plymouth to Theale Loop light engine move. These locomotives were returning from Devon having previously worked the Steam Dreams 'Steam to Cornwall' holiday excursion on a day trip from Plymouth to Penzance and return.
