On the 19th August 2021, Class 37 No. 37198 / D6898, which has recently been donated by Network Rail to the Head of Steam railway museum, run by Darlington Borough Council, is seen standing on a short section of track alongside the historic Hopetown locomotive works, where new build A1 No. 60163 "Tornado" was built and where new build Gresley P2 2-8-2 No. 2007 "Prince of Wales", is being constructed.
