On the 7th August 2021, DB Cargo Class 90 No. 90039 displaying "I am the Backbone of the economy" vinyls, passes Darlington hauling "The Aln Valley Venturer", the 07:15 UK Railtours charter from London King's Cross to Alnmouth. Class 67 No. 67006 "Royal Sovereign" was at the rear of this train.
