Driver training / test runs are taking place in preparation for through LNER services to Middlesbrough. In this view on the 14th July 2021, a 5 car, LNER "Azuma", Class 800/2 , no. 800207, running in diesel mode, is seen crossing Yarm Viaduct operating as 5Z65; the 16.42 ecs working from Northallerton East Junction to Shell Junction beyond Grangetown to the east of Middlesbrough. The train was running 22 minutes early at this point.
