West Coast Railways ran a Northern Belle test run on 18th May 2021, ahead of restarting their Northern Belle programme later that week. The 09:48 Carnforth - Carnforth ran via Settle Junction, Blackburn and Preston and was double headed by Class 57s Nos. 57313 Scarborough Castle and 57601 Windsor Castle with No. 57314 on the rear. The umber and cream liveried duo make a splendid sight as they pass Long Preston.
