Rail Operations Group class 57/3 No. 57305 hauls four condemned class 91 locomotives - Nos. 91129, 91113, 91126 and 91102 - past Undy on their final journey from Doncaster to Sims Metals at Newport Docks. These locomotives were built in the late 1980s/early 1990s and, until very recently, worked LNER express services on East Coast Main Line. The picture is almost a might-have-been shot, as there were plans by Grand Central to use 91s on a new service between South Wales and London, but the application to run those was rejected.
