On a damp 3rd February 2021, a three car Northern Class 158 No. 158754, provides an unusual sight, as it heads south from Darlington on the 11.57 driver training run from Newcastle to York. This is one of four daily runs between York and Newcastle which have been carried out since the 1st February 2021.
