On the 1st February 2021, the only, DB Cargo empty gypsum box wagon service from Carlisle New Yard to Tees Dock, was diverted via Darlington and Eaglescliffe, due to the closure of the Stillington branch, as a result of major re-signalling works in the Stockton area.
In this view, DB Cargo Class 66/0 No. 66030, passes Teesside Airport between Darlington and Eaglescliffe, heading for Tees Dock.
