RES-liveried Class 47 No. 47596 is seen at Crewe on 12th July 1994 along with Class 86/2s No. 86218 "Harold Macmillan" and No. 86238 "European Community". No. 47596 has been preserved at Mid-Norfolk Railway No. 86218 has been exported to Hungary in 2011, and No. 86238 was scrapped in May 2005.
