Class 47/4 No. 47522 "Doncaster Enterprise", in unique LNER apple green postal livery, is seen displayed at Doncaster Works Open Day on 3rd October 1987. This loco was involved in 2 serious accidents and rebuilt at great cost each time, at the latter occasion repainted into the more standard red postal livery. No. 47522, one of the last Class 47s to be built as D1105 in December 1966 was withdrawn in December 1998.
