BRC&W Type 2 Bo-Bo No. D5383 is seen stored at Derby Works on 29th August 1966. D5383 was badly damaged when it was hit by Class 25 No. D5218 near Flitwick on 10th February 1966. Repairs were not sanctioned and No. D5383 was withdrawn in January 1967, and was never numbered as a Class 27. Note the large Derby Paint Shop trolley in the foreground, and the coaling plant in the background.
