On 30th January 2020, Class 43 No. 43013 Mark Carne CBE heads the New Network Measuring Train as it sets out from Derby on a trip which will take in Crewe, Holyhead, Liverpool Lime Street and back to Crewe. Class 43 No. 43014 The Railway Observer was at the rear.
