On 28th July 2019 West Coast Railways ran the first of their Merchant of Avon charters from Burton upon Trent to Stratford upon Avon and return via the North Warwickshire line. Hauled by LMS Stanier Class 8F No. 48151 it is seen on the outward leg on a dull, damp morning passing Hall Green in south Birmingham.
