A rare sight on a Carlisle to Leeds, S&C service, is the allocation of a Class 150 in place of the usual Class 158. On the morning of 23rd July 2019, Northern Rail Class 150/2 No. 150223 draws to a stop at Kirkby Stephen. The train manager told me it even came as a big surprise to the train crew when they saw the '150' was allocated to the service!
