Cwmbran station saw two steam-hauled railtours pass within ten minutes of each other on 20th July 2019. The first being LMS 'Jubilee' No. 45596 Bahamas on a Vintage Trains working, the second being BR Standard 7MT Pacific No. 70000 'Britannia' working Saphos Trains' Welsh Marches Express tour from Crewe to Cardiff, as pictured here.
