The revamping of Sheringham main line station platform is well underway on 4th April 2019 as the old platform has completely gone and a pair of Van Elle road rail piling machines ( No. VER 002 nearest) insert the long tubular steel piles in the far side of the track to mount the new extended 4 coach platform. The work is planned to be completed by 5th May.
