Stuck at Hellifield. In torrential rain, SR Merchant Navy Pacific No. 35018 British India Lines is seen in the loop at Hellifield on 16th March 2019. Working as the 07.10 Carnforth Steamtown - Kings Lynn empty stock move for a railtour the following day, the train had successfully negotiated floodwaters at Giggleswick but was halted at Hellifield due to further floods at Gargrave where the River Aire had burst its banks. After a 270 minute delay British India Lines was allowed to proceed slowly through the affected area, eventually arriving at Kings Lynn 199 minutes behind schedule.
