During the Swanage Railway 2018 Autumn Steam Gala, SR Battle of Britain Bulleid Pacific No. 34072 '257 Squadron' returned to the fray of revenue earning passenger trains after being withdrawn in 2003 for a heavy engineering overhaul. The locomotive is seen here on Creech Embankment at the helm of the 12:32 departure from River Frome to Swanage on 14th October 2018 the third and final day of the Gala, on the rear of the train is LMS Black 5 4-6-0 No. 44871 which had hauled the train to River Frome from Swanage.
