Rack locomotive No. 2 of the Brienz-Rothorn Bahn, Swithzerland, built 1891 at the Winterthur works by SLM, is visiting the Snowdon Mountain Railway for the month of September. It is on shed at Llanberis on 2nd September 2018 in the company of SMR locomotive No. 5, which was built at the same works in 1896. The BRB locomotive, with its carriage, was offering free rides over a short distance from the terminus to just short of the viaducts, and unfortunately was unable to get to Waterfall Halt, as planned.
