BR Standard Class 7P Pacific No. 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' and LMS Stanier Black 5 4-6-0 No. 44781 double headed the LCGB 'Farewell to Steam Railtour' on 4th August 1968 on the Manchester Victoria to Bolton and Blackburn leg of this charter. As can be seen here No. 70013 appropriately had a wreath attached to its smokebox door.
