The offset in the boiler of three truck Shay No. 1, built by Lima Ohio in 1905 for Greenbrier Cheat & Elk Railroad and used by by Huntley Lumber of West Virginia until 1963, in order to balance the one-sided motion and gearing is evident in this view. Next to No. 1 and seen at the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum, Baltimore, on 22nd June 2018, is American Locomotive Co. 4-4-2 'Atlantic Camelback'of 1901 No. 592 used until early 1950's on 90mph express trains from New York to Philadelphia.
