The two LMS 20T brake vans at High Peak Junction have been repainted, albeit it a rather red-brown colour, and are seen in the snow of 19th March 2018. Inside these brake vans can be found photos and maps of the C&HPR. Behind the vans is the water tower that was used to fill LNER tenders with water to act as bowsers for locations along the C&HPR. Adjacent to the vans is the High Peak Junction Workshops, where a facinating video of the C&HPR operations can be viewed.
