Trains ran over the new southwards extension of the Somerset & Dorset Railway at Midsomer Norton for the first time during the Spring Steam Gala. LMS 'Jinty' 0-6-0T No. 47406 (visiting from the Great Central Railway) is seen on the recently laid section of track on 10th March 2018, the first day of the gala.
