Class 47 No. 47402 Gateshead is seen in the company of a Class 85 and another Class 47 stabled at Liverpool Lime Street prior to working a Trans Pennine service on 1st 8th July 1987. Originally D1501, the locomotive is now preserved on the East Lancashire Railway.
