In the early evening on 21st September 2017, a PKP Cargo / Polish Railways Class ET41 No. ET41-161, passes Pszczolki, Poland, with an empty coal train.
The design of the ET41 Class basically consists of combining two EU07 locomotives, with two driver's cabs removed. The two locos are semi-permanently coupled in multiple operation. Because of this, the electric current collection must be done independently for each unit.
200 ET41 locomotives were built by Cegielski in Pozna?, Poland between 1977 and 1983.
As in this photograph, they are now mainly used on coal traffic between Upper Silesia and the Baltic ports of Gdansk, Gdynia and Szczecin.
