The Railway Preservation Society of Ireland's Munster Double railtour of 14th October 2017 was said to the first time two 071 class locomotives had worked in multiple. The tour, worked throughout by retro-liveried No. 071 and No. 073, originated in Dublin, and took in Cork and Killarney on the way to Tralee; the locomotives are seen running round at Mallow before heading for Killarney.
