The West Lancashire Light Railway (WLLR) held a pre 50th Anniversary Gala gala event over the weekend of 11th/12th August 2017 and finished the event on 1st 2nd August with a line-up of all the locomotives that had been used. This saw Hunslet 823 0-4-0ST Irish Mail, Hunslet 3904 0-4-0ST Jack Green, Hunslet 3903 0-4-0ST Statfold, Hunslet 542 0-4-0ST Cloister, Orenstein & Koppel 2378 0-4-2T Utrilas and Kerr Stuart 0-6-0ST Joffre on display.
