For the official opening of Tutbury and Hatton Station on 3rd April 1989 Class 150 No. 150150 took guests on a special working, the 11:10 Derby to Uttoxeter then the 11:40 Uttoxeter to Tutbury & Hatton, seen arriving to break through an appropriate banner. The opening was withnessed by the pupils of the Richard Wakefield Primary School of Tutbury.
