On the 23rd June 2017, a DRS Class 57 No. 57303 "Pride of Carlisle" is seen leading the Belmond Northern Belle through Stockton-on-Tees, during part of a circular journey from Darlington / Newcastle and back to Newcastle, via the Durham Coast and the ECML. Classmate No. 57304 "Pride of Cheshire" was at the rear of this train.
