Class 56 No. 56031 sits under the fuelling point at Knottingley Depot on 20th July 1980. First of the Doncaster built batch No. 56031 was subsequently named Merehead and operated as a Fertis locomotive in France in 2005/6. It was finally withdrawn in 2010 and scrapped in September 2012.
