A desolate looking Ryde Pier Head station on 13th March 2017. In the foreground are the rusting remains of the Pier Tramway which closed in January 1969. Only one of the original four platforms remains in use, with the supports for one of the removed tracks visible on the right. A rather drab class 483 No. 483004 with a Shanklin train, completes the somewhat sorry scene.
