On the 15th January 2017, a Virgin Trains east Coast Class 43 No. 43319 with classmate No. 43312 at the rear of the train, is seen passing through Stockton-on-Tees with a Newcastle to London King's Cross service, diverted via the Durham Coast, due to engineering works between Darlington and Newcastle.
