On 26th June 1984 Class 37 No. 37122 trundles through pretty Mistley on the Harwich branch with the morning Whitemoor Yard - Parkeston Quay Speedlink service. One of the Robert Stephenson & Hawthorne built batch, the locomotive later became 37692 and was withdrawn in December 2000.
