Haymarket allocated 3 car Class 101 DMU 101307 is seen passing the Eastern boundary of Edinburgh Airport on 8th September 1988. Working a Fife Coast to Edinburgh Waverley service the unit is formed of refurbished DMBS No. 51231, TCL No. 59688 and DMCL No. 53189. All three vehicles would remain in Scotland until withdrawl, DMCL No. 53189 in November 1991, being scrapped at Glasgow Works during February 1993, TCL No. 59688 in October 1992, scrapped at Glasgow Works during March 1994 and DMBS No. 51231 in April 2000, but not being scrapped until July 2009 at CF Booth, Rotherham.
