Railway Herald
Operating on the Garden Railway at the 10th September 2016 Statfold Barn Open Day was Kerr Stuart Wren Class 0-4-0ST Roger. Built in 1918 with Works Number 3128 she was delivered to National Smelting Ltd, Avonmouth until sold and exported to Canada in 1959. Recently operational in Langstaff, Ontario, Canada she appears to have had a very recent overhaul and carries Charles Matthews Ltd, Thornhill markings on her tank sides. Interestingly Charles Matthews, of Langstaff, Ontario, was the person who bought Roger and 5 other Welsh 2ft gauge tank engines in 1959.
