On 3rd August 2016 GBRf hired ROG 47812 (and crew) to move Class 442 unit 442422 from Eastleigh (Arlington) for store at Ely (Papworth) as 10:33 from Eastleigh. The train was routed via NLL, ECML, Hitchin, Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds to reverse and reach Ely via Soham due to a bridge restriction at Chesterton. The move was repeated on 10th August with 442407 with further units anticipated on a weekly basis.
