Stabled in Mossend Yard, Motherwell on 3rd June 1978 is recently ex works Class 85 No. 85032. Delivered from BR Doncaster Works in October 1962 as AL5 No. E3087 her entire working life would be spent on WCML duties. In June 1989 due to the late delivery of Class 90's she was one of 14 Class 85's reclassified as Class 85/1 becoming No. 85108. With her ETH supply isolated and a 75mph maximum speed she spent her last 2 years of service on heavy freight traffic until being withdrawn in July 1991. Stored at Crewe Electric Depot for a while No. 85108 was eventually scrapped by M C Metals at their yard in Glasgow during September 1992.
