The star of the Great Central Railway Autumn Steam Gala was GWR 6959 Class Modified Hall 4-6-0 No. 6990 "Witherslack Hall" which has returned to service after a long 15 year overhaul, and is now paired with the correct Hawksworth tender. No. 6990 is seen passing Woodthorpe on 4th October 2015 with the 14:30 Loughborough Central to Leicester North service at the GCR Autumn Steam Gala.
