Class 31/4 No. 31411, with white body stripe, stands at Derby Station with the 09:39 Derby to Skegness service on 20th August 1988. In the bay platform is the unique DMU modified Class 150 No. 154002 on a Derby to Crewe service. No. 154002 started as protype Sprinter No. 150002 fitted with a Perkins rather than a Cummins engine, and was chosen to become the testbed for the Class 158, hence the number change to No. 154002.
