Network Rail Class 31 No. 31285, fitted with high intensity lights for infrastructure inspection, passes Willington on Sunday 25th January 2015 with the 08:55 Hither Green to Derby test train, routed through Lichfield, running 70 minutes early. DBSO No. 9703 was at the rear of the train and had lead down the WCML. The Network Rail coaches were No. 6264 No. 999605 (Ultrasonic test), and No. 977983 (Hot box detection).
