LMS Stanier 8F 2-8-0 No. 48624 waits to depart Loughborough Central on 31st August 2014 with the 13:20 'The Elizabethan' dining service to Leicester North, stopping at Swithland reservoir. This was the only Steam hauled service at the GCR Diesel Gala, but it did have Class 20 No. D8098 (20098) at the rear, which lead the return working.
