On 28th July 2014 Northern Rail Class 150/1 No. 150228 approaches Preston with a service from Liverpool South Parkway to Blackpool North. On the left, First Trans-Pennine Class 185 Nos. 185131 (leading) and 185127 approach with a service from Manchester Airport that divides at Preston to form services to Blackpool North (front unit) and Barrow-in-Furness (rear unit).
